Taking the IELTS Exam in Northern Cyprus

EMU is also a TOEFL IBT Centre and a satellite centre for IELTS, preparing students for both exams,  with both part-time and full time courses at EMU, including at EMU's International Summer School

Relevant postgraduate English language courses run by EMU's School of Foreign Languages (4 hours per week) include:

  • ENGL 521: Advanced English for IELTS
  • ENGL 523: Advanced Academic Writing
  • ENGL 525: Academic and Professional Presentation Skills

EMU's International Summer School also often runs short IELTS and other language courses in the summer months.

In either case, please bear in mind that your academic writing needs to be of a very high standard to succeed in this programme.
